Trekking to the "Top of the world"

Here are some photos of my one day trip to the "Top of the World" ;)

This was held near Pescanseco Fundeiro, which is a very small portuguese village up North.
I stayed there for about a week and one day a group of about 25 people (cousins and friends) decided to go trekking to the nearest dam - Barragem de Santa Luzia - which you can see in the background.

We left Pescanseco round 6 o'clock in the morning and got to the dam about 12 o'clock, where we had our well-earned swim ;)

This was a very nice day!

Nice photos and nice place!
É assim o nosso Portugal, cheio de pequenos paraísos...
Também valeu a coincidência das fotos terem sido tiradas no meu dia de anos! Great day!

Hi, Unknown!

That was a nice coincidence... So, you see, I was celebrating your birthday, on that day :-)))

This is one thing I love about Portugal... there's always some secret (or not so secret) amazing place you can visit, with different geographical features.

You are amazing! Knowing all that stuff about your own place is really something unusual these days. People are accustomed to seat on a couch watching some Natural Geographic's film rather than being themselves in the place.
I prefer to take part of the film ;)

PS. - Sorry for my "macarronic" english :D

Cótchak! Nice to "read" from you!

Yes, you're right. I prefer being WITH nature too!

Your english is fine, don't worry... but I would say "National Geographic" :P ...just teasing ;)

That's just what I needed in this very moment. Trekking in the top of the world...
What I love most in this things is to ear the silence that surronds us. Very revigorating! (if that word really exists...)
What about a trekking joint for some unknown people? I'm in!
cheers
